DATO’ ROSLI SHARIF

Dato' Rosli was appointed to the Board of Directors of FGB on 28 June 2007.
Dato’ Rosli is the Senior Director of International Business (West Asia) of UEM Group covering West Asia market focusing in OIC countries and Indonesia. Prior to his current position, Dato’ Rosli has served 17 years at Cement Industries of Malaysia Berhad (“CIMA”) since 1988 started as Group Finance Manager, promoted to General Manager and Chief Operating Officer and subsequently as Managing Director in 2002. During 1998–2000, he successfully led CIMA in expanding their market and production capacity, through the acquisition of Negeri Sembilan Cement Industries Sdn Bhd. He was the Chairman of Cement and Concrete Association of Malaysia from 1998 to 2000.
Dato’ Rosli is a fellow of the Association of Charted Certified Accountants (“ACCA”) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (“MIA”) with vast experience in both the public and private sectors for more than 30 years. He held various positions at The Treasury, as accountant at the Accountant General’s office, Accountant at the Department of Civil Aviation and later as the State Treasurer of Negeri Sembilan. In 1995, he completed the Senior Executive Development program at Banff School of Advanced Management, Canada.
Currently, Dato’ Rosli holds directorships in UEM International (West Asia) Sdn Bhd, MAVTRAC Sdn Bhd and Intralogic Sdn Bhd. At International level, he is a member of the Board of Commissioners of PT Lintas Marga Sedaya and PT Cimanggis Cibitung Tollways companies incorporated in Indonesia which are involved in expressway business. He is also a member of the Investment Committee of Northern University of Malaysia and a member of Bumiputra Commercial and Industrial Community Working Group Committee in Prime Minister Department. He does not hold directorship in any other public companies.
Dato' Rosli does not have any family relationship with any Director and/or major shareholder of FGB. He does not have any conflict of interest with FGB. He has had no convictions for any offences within the past 10 years other than traffic offences, if any.
