AINON SULEIMAN  
Head of Organizational Improvement & Compliance, Faber Group Berhad

Ainon joined back Faber Group Berhad as Head of Organizational Improvement and Compliance in March 2009 after 11 years of service in Faber Medi-Serve Sdn Bhd (FMS).  A graduate of B.Sc in Statistics and Economic and M.Sc in Operational Research from Western Michigan University, U.S.A, she has over 20 years of experience in media, hotel, property development, facility management industries in the areas of market research, business development, quality management & productivity, safety, health, environment, risk management and corporate communications.

Started her career with the New Straits Times Press (M) Berhad in 1988, Ainon moved on to Faber Group Berhad to expand her career in research and business development.  Among the successful proposals she was involved in are the privatization of hospital support services and hospital catering business.  Upon award of the privatization of hospital support services to Faber, Ainon joined the management team of FMS to help set-up the company and prepare for its implementation.  While in FMS, she also led the pioneer marketing team in securing clinical waste management contracts from 90% of the private hospitals in the northern region of Peninsula Malaysia.      

Her accomplishments in quality management & productivity include successful implementation and subsequent ISO 9001 certification of Quality Management System for management and operation of 5 services at 88 sites; 5S program; Continual Improvement Program and Six Sigma Program which garnered RM 8.8 million savings in its 2 years of implementation.  At the national front, Ainon was one of the key members in the development and implementation of the National Quality Assurance Program for Support Services in the Ministry of Health hospitals.  In recognition for her contribution in quality and productivity, Ainon was awarded the 2006 UEM Group Exemplary Quality Management Representative.

Ainon was also instrumental in the establishment and management of Safety, Health and Environment Management System, Crisis Management System and Recycling Program in FMS which led to successful certification of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 for Kamunting Incineration and Laundry Plants.  A certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and OHSAS 18001 Advanced Lead Auditor, she has vast experience in planning, managing and conducting Quality and Safety & Health Audits.    

An experienced event manager, she has organized various corporate events and corporate social responsibility programs involving Ministers, senior government officials and top management of private companies. 

Her passion in human capital development has seen her conducting trainings to employees Faber Group of Companies and presenting papers in national conference.
